Kathryn and I took great delight in capturing Clare and David’s wedding today ! A genuinely lovely couple, Clare and David are now based in Queensland, so the day was as much wedding as catch up with friends and family. Everyone (us included) had a great time and even pulled out some moves on the dance floor.

Today saw us at Rafferty’s Resort for Julianne and Mal’s wedding.

Danielle & Brad were married today at the Casuarina in the Hunter Valley. Whilst a little blustery (read gale-force winds), Daniellea and Brad weren’t phased and Thierry and Wayne were able to make these tremendous images.

Not even golf-ball sized hail could subdue Bec & Guillermo’s delight today when they both said “I do” at St Patricks of Nulkaba.

A beautiful ceremony, followed by a party and a half at Tuscany Estate made for a day I shall not forget quickly.

Yesterday, Kathryn and I were photographing extremely cool couple, Danny & Aija.

The skies opened during their ceremony at Shepherds Hill, Newcastle, but certainly didn’t dampen spirits.

The awesome trade off for rainy days can be amazing images, and often, beautiful sunsets.

Yesterday, Wayne and Kathryn had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of a couple who, as you can see from the photos, are very much in love (and into doing something a little bit different !) at the beautiful Bella Vista.

A more fun loving couple than Kristi and Brad you are unlikely to meet.

Kristi & Brad were married today at St John’s, Cooks Hill, surround by myriads of friends and family. The beautiful shots attached here are the work of our photographer Thierry.

A particularly nice touch was the releasing of doves, apparently kept quite a secret from Brad & Kristi until the day (nicely done Mum !)

Catching up with Renee & Mark today was nothing short of awesome. Married earlier this month (see 12 October Blog Entry), Renee & Mark phoned me out of the blue to arrange a liberate the dress session.
 Always keen to put together something relevant and artistic, I learnt that Renee, during her University degree had spent a large amount of time volunteering her time at the Shortland Wetlands. The perfect location for some incredible photographs.

Recently we caught up with Danielle & Brad for a shoot at the Carriageworks in Redfern, celebrating a dating anniversary and homeloan approval earlier that day.

Previously a location unknown to me, the Carriageworks was just terrific - oozing Pretty but Gritty.

Courtney & Stuart, close friends, and two horses were celebrating a wedding in Nelson Bay yesterday.

Exceptionally nice people, Courtney & Stuart made the gorgeous images attached here with Thierry.

I was delighted to receive this email immediately after the wedding from Courtney’s Dad, Wayne. (sometimes we are more than just photographers :)

Good evening Luke,

Please forgive my no doubt incorrect spelling of your photographer's name, but I believe it is Thierry (that really doesn't look right but I'm sure you know who I am talking about).

Recently my daughter was married at Nelson Bay. Her name is Courtney Humphrey (now Berry) and was married to Stuart Berry. Thierry was the photographer for the event.

Now I haven't seen the photographs yet, and frankly that is not the issue. The issue is how Thierry managed to assist my daughter and the entire bridal party through a series of wardrobe malfunctions that could have quite frankly destroyed the day.

Thierry is an absolute credit to your company and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He didn't have to assist, he could have quite easily just sat there and taken photos of panic as it flooded across the family. Instead his actions were so supportive, professional and assistive that without his help I am sure the wedding would have been a disaster.

Despite my disgraceful spelling would you be so kind as to pass on my most sincere thanks.
